The Inn at Hickory Run is a newly constructed facility with premier accommodations for your comfort and enjoyment. Every guest room includes:
Guest rooms were designed based upon the various hardwoods found around the five acre property: maple, birch, oak and cherry. Each room has its own unique qualities and views of the wooded estate. The common area includes a large entertainment and sitting area with state-of-the-art big screen and surround sound for movies and special TV events. A three story stone fireplace offers a place to relax on gliding rocking chairs. The dining area serves as both a meeting place for meals and late night snacks, as well as a place for educational meetings and table games. The Maple Room
Finished with a turn of century maple floor and hand crafted curly maple window and chair rail molding, this room offers the best view and sounds of the front yard waterfall. The king size bed (or two twins) is complemented with a high top head board, end tables, entertainment center, comfortable arm chair and desk. The fireplace is finished in green marble with hand crafted maple mantel. The bathroom is equipped with an adjustable shower head in both the shower and whirlpool tub. The shower stall is barrier free and the sink is wall mounted with grab bars around the toilet to accommodate guests with special needs. The most rustic guestroom is complete with birch king-size headboard and night stands made from birch trees cut down during construction. The field-stone fireplace is finished with a solid birch mantel supported by birch tree trunks. An entertainment center and birch finish desk complete this guestroom with a view of our many pine and hardwood trees, as well as our front-yard waterfall. The most elegant bedroom of the Inn includes a full complement of red oak finish including crown molding chair-rail and panel molding. A black marble fireplace is finished in fluted oak columns. The queen-size bed, entertainment center, black marble work desk and comfortable chair complete this luxurious bedroom. The cherry room hosts the most wood finish in the entire Inn. The wainscot walls are finished in knotty cherry. A round-river stone fireplace is completed with aged-cherry wood trim and solid cherry mantel. The hardwood cherry floor is complemented by hand crafted chair-rail, window and door frames. Matching king-size wainscot headboard entertainment unit, armoire desk and comfortable chair offer the perfect setting for relaxation in the most isolated room of the Inn. "We
were very pleasantly surprised. We stayed in the Cherry Room. The room was
spotless, and very high tech. The stereo has a cable into for MP3 players and
phone calls within the US are free as they have IP phones. A pleasant surprise
was the walk in shower, it has a very small step. I mentioned to Dave (very
nice fellow) that this was a nice surprise and he mentioned that they have a
room that is completely barrier free and if I would like that. Not many
Innkeepers are that in tune with guest needs."
"The refrigerator in the dining room was nicely stocked and they made sure that evening snacks were available. In the common room the TV has surround sound, with a good DVD collection and comfy chairs. Yes, you will find Star Trek DVD's as this is on Tribble Lane. They have a no shoes in the Inn policy, which is understandable as the hard wood floors were very nice." |
Our premium whirlpool tubs in each guest
room are specifically designed by Sanijet. Each tub is equipped with six
independent motorized jets. There are no pipes to hold standing water and the
special insulated motors are extremely quiet. We selected these special
"ductless" whirlpool tubs to ensure the highest degree of cleanliness while
providing the ultimate relaxing experience.
